Our deck is finally stained and sealed and all ready to go! But our online retailer emailed me this week to say they didn't actually have the furniture in stock, so they won't really be shipping it. Our order is cancelled. So since it's already getting cold and crappy outside, we probably won't be purchasing any deck furniture this year.

 

We have, however, spent some time working on landscaping: we filled two giant bronze-colored pots with a variety of plants and flowers, and I laid some natural rock paving stones at the base of the steps, so at least the place is starting to look cozy.
